Family fun night!

Kaylee had family home evening(this can always be a scary thing), she planned a family fun night. We started out with tricks on the trampoline and then we played horse......which me and her tied for loser:(

Troy shows off his smooth moves!

Kaylee did good keeping up with making her baskets!

Ok.....so my turn was after Jeffs and as you can see he had all kind of strange moves for his shots!! That's the last time I go after him....haha!

Yes Dave always had to show us up with all his fancy shots!......Such a show off!

Do you see that.....I actually made it!

Yep it went in!

Jordan made his shot look easy!

He likes to show off like his dad ;-P'

As you can see Troys real talented when it comes to tricks!

Kaylee was pretty proud of her handstand!

Kaylee's 11th Birthday!!

It's taken me a while to post this one....for some reason I've had so many memories going through my head that have been buried for a while. I don't know what sparked them as her birthday came....maybe its just the fact my baby is growing up on me and I am so proud of who she's becoming.

This is an awful picture, but I thought it might help you understand my memories. There were times during her problems when I wondered if things would be all right. The first being when I found her the first time she had a siezure. I didn't know what happened all I knew is Jordan told me there was something wrong with her. I ran upstairs and found her on the bed. She was like a vegetable. No life except for her breathing. (is it stupid that I still can't think about it without tearing up!!) It took her about an hour of her lying lifeless before she started to come around. At that point she still couldn't talk, and she didn't recognize me. she looked at me with terror in her eyes and tried to push me away. I just remember thinking-don't you push me away I'm your MOM!! When the parimedics arrived I remember looking at one of them in the eye (he was in my ward) and asking him, "whats wrong with her, is she going to be ok?). He looked at me and couldn't say anything. At this point all I could do was plead in my head with Heavenly Father....Please don't take my baby!
She finaly came out of it fully after three hours, but that was the start of all her heart problems. I'm so thankful for how good she is doing now. For all the friends and family that prayed for her while she was going through it.....I don't know if I ever told everyone.... I remember the sunday before her surgery one of her friends coming to her (Anna Snow) and telling me Kaylee was going to be ok because everyone in the ward including her were having a special fast for her. Everyone was so good to her and helped her feel better.

I don't know why I decided to write about it I guess its because it made me appreciate my kids a little more and remember that even though they look perfect, things can change it the blink of an eye. Lately I've been wanting to hold on to my kids a little longer just so they know their mom loves them. The older ones find it kind of annoying! :-P'

Kaylee got contacts for her birthday!! She was so excited she has wanted them for a long time but we made her wait. I was so proud of her she learned how to put them in and get them out pretty fast!

She had a hard time remembering to keep hold of her upper eye lid. She would blink before it was in all the way!

Finally got it!

Jordan and his friends wanted some pictures for facebook. They were so funny and couldn't stop laughing! I told them how cute they were, they didn't like "cute" so they had to grab their hoodies and act tough....O brother!
