The Big 18!

We got Jeff a car for his birthday! He was spending about $90 a week just for gas in the expedition so we decided we would save money on gas and insurance. It was so funny we decorated the car and parked it in front of the house and sat and waited for him to come home from school! I was afraid he was going to run into the garage because he wouldn't take his eyes off the car....he was in total shock...he jumped out of the truck and almost tackled me.

The things I love about Jeff....

1. The number one thing on my list is his love for people! He loves having lots of FRIENDS and makes them easy!

2. Number two thing and its tied with number one is he hates it when people are mad at him.... it doesn't take him long to APOLOGIZE to those he's hurt.

3. He'll still give his mom a HUG and tells me he loves me:)

4. He stands up for what he BELIEVES!

5. I love his GOOFY SMILE even though I complain at him when we take pictures!

6. He's STRONG!

7. He loves to TALK!

8. He doesn't do it as much anymore but he used to come find me just to sit and talk to me. He's my SON 1st of all but he is also a very GOOD FRIEND!

9. He loves to DRAW cities....he has a HUGE IMAGINATION like his dad!

10. I love that he's learning to play the PIANO....I wish we had one for him to play on:(

These are the words that make Jeffery! I am thankful for all my kids and am so lucky to have them! We love you Jeff you are AWESOME!

Happy Birthday Kaylee!

Happy birthday to my princess! I can't believe she's 12! Tomorrow she gets to go to mutual....you know what that means????? Yeah for me no kids at home;)

Just kidding I have enjoyed my wed. nights just her and me for the last months. I love having a daughter to share girl things with, go shopping with, mommy daughter dates etc....

Now after saying this you all will have to listen to me ramble or you can tune me out if you want:)

Thanks Kristi for making me post even though I'm in a solemn mood right now....today our neighbors daughter passed away....she went to bed and did not wake up. She was Troy's age and in our ward, and lived almost directly across the street. Very sweet girl and family...she will be greatly missed! As I was posting this of Kaylee it hit me hard for some reason remembering the feelings I had when Kaylee went through her heart problems....wondering how close we could of been to her not waking up....I am so thankful she is here to bring light to my life...

The words to the song...."my life has a plan, my life has a purpose in heaven it began" is playing through my mind. How glad I am to know that we have a Heavenly Father, and a Savior who has payed not only for our sins but for our sorrows too....He's the one who can help this sweet family now...I can't tell you how many times he has healed me and shared my pain. I know my Savior lives...he has touched my life and heart too many times to deny. Thank you Dad and Mom for this knowledge...you have given us the greatest gift a child could ever have! -I love you!

Tonight I go to bed and give my kids an extra long squeeze and thank my Heavenly Father for each one of them........
