Just felt the need to journal. Our ward is focusing a lot on Family History and a big part of it is making sure you journal...and this seems to be the easiest place for me!

Jeff - As most of you seen he had an "amazing"(as he would put it) time in Arizona! All his and our friends there are great and treated him so good. I was worried he wouldn't come home. His job is going great and we are so proud he is such a hard and dependable worker. He also has been having fun with his church calling...he is over the 8yr old scouts and they LOVE him....I guess its because he's still just a big kid:)  Tonight he started the missionary prep classes here and he came back all excited...I guess they talked him into joining the choir for stake conference and he got 7 girls phone numbers...doesn't suprise me one bit! We're just hoping he doesn't try to find a girlfriend before he leaves for his mission. We are getting close to submitting his paperwork. We are in the process of setting up medical and dental appointments.

Troy - He is loving life! He has been helping coach a baseball team and also working hard with the highschool coaches getting ready for baseball tryouts (this week). He LOVES baseball. He is 2nd counsler in his Priest class. He has loved the fact that he's been able to do so much driving everywhere...he is especially excited Jeff's car is finally working. Next year we'll let him drive to school for his SENIOR year! Can't believe he's getting so old on us...this year he turns 18 so next year he will graduate then leave shortly after for his mission! He is taking a college credit next year that will help him see if being an FBI Agent is what he wants to do forsure. He is still really thoughtful and I love that quality in him.

Jordan - He has come out of his shell so much since we moved here...everyone loves him. We love that his sense of humor shines through so much and he is always smiling...it really makes my day. He loves his deep voice and has no problem showing it off to anyone. He also joined choir....yes I said choir!! This is the boy who Dave taught to mouth watermelon watermelon...ect when singing so he wouldn't look stupid just standing there! One of his teachers told the choir teacher about him and the next thing he knew the choir teacher was recruiting him. The teacher said he's the lowest singer he's had. He also has been training for next years football. He really loved this past season. He hurt his knee and has had to stay off it for 6 weeks. Jordan has been the president of his teachers class and has been doing a great job. This week he is going with the missionaries to one of the inactive boys' home. He also turns 16!!! this year!

Kaylee - turns 13 next Sunday....and we're afraid she's going to be dissappointed when she doesn't get a horse! She has become a total teenager....mood swings and all! haha she's going to kill me for that one. She has lost her little girl look....she loves long shirts and I'm always after her to stop pulling on them. I don't know how many she's put holes in...nervous habbit of hers! I love that she is so strong and is always standing up for herself. She loves Horses and Reading. She is excited about joining student council and also being in choir. She has great grades and wants to become a Vet. This Summer we are planning on visiting a horse shelter here that would let her help care for the horses and in return she'll be able to ride them. She is still really shy but has been coming out of her shell a lot lately. She was just called to 2nd counsler in her beehive class. She is so excited about the girls she gets to work with.

Dave's business has really taken off this past month and he is really excited about the growth they've made. He is Webelows leader and is having a great time with it. They had their Blue and Gold Banquet this past week and all I've been hearing from everyone was how funny their skit was. He keeps saying...you just stay Relief Society President so I can stay in these easy callings! As for me I have loved being RS President...never thought I'd say it! I love the sisters in this ward and I have loved getting to know them. I am amazed at all the miracles I get to see and be involved in. I have had so many experiences that have stregthened me....I told the sisters when I was called that the calling was for me since they are all so smart and amazing ladies and it has been so true. I LOVE my job in the ILC special needs in an elementary school and am so thankful to be doing something that is so rewarding. I love working with kids and it is so fun to see their success'. We are loving Colorado the people here are so nice....we do miss Arizona and all the family and friends we had to leave behind.
